Database Administrator
The Database Administrator designs and develops database architectures to support
multiple software development activities, ensuring that Vortx's database environment
is highly reliable, provides the required functionality, and is efficient and cost
effective. The Database Administrator performs technical functions and implements
policies and procedures that serve to maintain and enhance the integrity, security
and performance of the database & server operating environment.
Sample Duties
- Provides basic administration and troubleshoots daily program problems to assist
internal and external users in accessing and manipulating computerized data.
- Provides operational support of the databases, including backup and recovery.
- Establishes and maintains databases for user testing purposes and production.
- Monitors the databases' performance and configures user and data access, and recommends
changes to analysts and programmers.
- Consults with development team on application and database system enhancements planning,
including impact analysis and risk assessment of proposed changes to the production
environment.
- Consolidates, integrates, and transforms data, as well as debugs program errors
and modifies programs in order to support the data management systems.

The Project Manager defines, scopes, plans and tracks eCommerce-related software
development projects for both clients and internal projects, working in conjunction
with the Relationship Manager and Chief Operating Officer and supervising teams
of developers and support services. The Project M anager relies heavily on experience
and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and must have a background in eCommerce.

matter expert on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), working with diverse teams to
increase the understanding and use of effective and ethical SEO techniques, best
practices, and strategies. Telecommuters will be considered but are not preferred.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and communicate strategies for increasing client site traffic
and sales through traditional and innovative SEO techniques.
- Work with managers, developers, designers, and clients to improve the integration
of SEO strategies with the development of website content and functionality.

teams to test various search engine marketing and web site design strategies that
